• Scenarios developed by involving (interviews, workshops, surveys) supply chain directors and managers from four continent

• Stress-tests of a key logistics planning function on 24 "variables" (proprietary)

• Identification of resilience strategies for each "variable" (proprietary)

Key Outcomes:

Selected strategic advisory engagements and sponsored research initiatives spanning Shardul's work at Asia School of Business (Ops21™, funded research), independent practice, and doctoral/post-doc research at MIT (until 2014).

Shardul served as the Principal Advisor for all engagements from 2014 onwards, and as the lead researcher and project designer for the MIT engagements listed prior.

• Led as President of Board of Directors (Jan 2023-Apr 2025), facilitating strategic discussions on the Board and managing Board-GM dynamics

• Fostered mindset to see TLFP as a supply chain orchestrator, operating a distribution center to move goods, rapidly (not a storage warehouse)

• Created multiple academic collaborations (Practicums, Action Learning) between ASB and TLFP, as President Emeritus (since 2025)

Beverage Supply Chain Scenarios and Dashboard

Key Contributions:

• Led the research and workshop facilitation of senior (VP+) supply chain leaders to develop scenarios for end-to-end farm-to-retail supply chain

• Designed architecture of strategy playbook to link business environment changes to company's supply chain assets and capabilities

• Developed scenarios to guide initiatives for adaptive supply chain strategy

USA | 2010-11 (at MIT)

Key Contributions:

• Developed and applied a method for quantitatively evaluating investments in transportation infrastructure using scenario planning

• Co-designed and facilitated scenario planning workshops at six transportation planning agencies in the US (including three State DOTs)

• Led research to measure how scenario practice influences expert judgment
